I was just on my way to Damascus the other day, riding a donkey, when there was a blinding flash of light. I had an idea!
If my 997 Gen 2 depreciates at about £30K in say 2 years, should I resist temptation and not buy Gen 3, thus saving myself £30K?
If so, what could I do with £30K?
Of course I would have a problem. I will want a new super dooper new Porsche with Mk 3 floggle valves.
So how about spending just half of the £30K saving on my present Gen 2? For that I could get new wheels, a sexy aero kit and engine performance enhancements. Maybe even upgrade to Mk 3 floggle valves. Within my budget I should also be able to run to a refit of the leather seats; maybe two-tone?
Trouble is, what do I do with the other £15K ? [8|]
Of course, if we all did this the other problem would be that Porsche go bust.
So it is obviously a silly idea! []
