Damp (V6)

Advice on damping inside, pls.. All of sudden, the car (V6) is dampening inside.. Even dripping from the inner side of windows on cold night.. on the floor mat, sort of flooding.. very strange..

Try lifting the front floor mats and feel if the carpet is wet underneath.

If it is you may have a blocked drain from the screen water collection box, or the seal on the box itself is leaking into the cabin.

If this is the case then the humidity in the car will be sky high and cause a lot of condensation on cold nights when the warm moist air in the cabin condenses on the cold glass.

A lot of 'If's' I know but worth checking.

Thank you so much for your kind advice, Tony..

It is quite usefula dn worth trying..

Once again, many thanks and HAPPY CHRISTMAS!!!

Cheers,

Paul

Paul .... Is your rear windscreen washer working perfectly .. there was been one or two reports of the pipes "blowing" off / splitting....On my old car it used to do it at the washer / pipe junction and just fill the rear high vis brake light .. There was a report of someone having it "split" in the dashboard area and corrode the wiring loom (here is that thread http://www.porscheclubgbforum.com/fb.asp?m=432281 ).. .. I mention this just in case your "dumping" washer fluid somewhere inside the car
