Dansk mufflers dont fit.

The Saint.

New member
Well after waiting to have my Dansk mufflers fitted to my 2002 C2 they don't fit! Cant believe it, I waited for them to be fitted at my indy and now will have to return them. The o/s muffler is fouling on the manifold and barely reaches the cat connection.
It seems as though the mounting brackets are in the wrong position, or are at the wrong angle. Anyway disappointing, as will be a while before its sorted as they are from Belgium. I fitted new engine mounts and wondered if I could have got something wrong, but originals fit fine.

Sorry to hear about your troubles, i fitted a pair of Dansk silencers to my 2001 996 C4 with no problems at all, they were easier to handle being quite a bit lighter and smaller than the OEM ones. Good luck getting it sorted out

Yes thanks. Ive had Dansk mufflers on my previous C4 and no problems at all, now I wonder if anybody else has had this happen?
Just wonder if there can be any other cause of them not fitting.
