Das Schild and extended warranty

Has anyone had any issue with getting an extended warranty with one of the Das Schild under bonnet-protectors fitted?

Please God, tell me not, but given how tricky this whole subject is, would like to know...!

I haven't heard of such, Richard. As you haven't replaced a stock part with an after market one and the fitting of said part is very unlikely to affect the performance of any part of the car, it's hard to see why it would be refused. If you're concerned can't you just flip it out when it goes in for the 111 point check?

Yes, you're right that I could remove it, but obviously want to avoid levering all the plastic press studs out etc.

Wonder what they'll make of my non-standard custom carpet mats...

It's more a problem for me to remove the non standard brake pads, anti roll bars and radiator grills before the 111 point check....oh, and the non standard mats too[:)]

That's ok - they put that in. Well, they also fitted the grills, pads and ARBs....I did the exhaust tips[:D]
