Hi,

Anybody know where I can get some brighter reflector bulbs (not 509t warning ones) that fit in the dash cluster to light it up (via prisms) ? The only ones I can see on ebay are the 509t warning ones. From reading 3.78w seem brightest I could use ? but cant find any online and dont really know name of type im looking for (can only see usa brands and im in uk)

Thanks.

You can get them from most motor factors mate. If you are doing that I would seriously recover the prisms as well. Remove the old stuff and recover with tin foil or aluminium duct tape. Instead of using bulbs I replaced mine with LEDs. You can get them in the wedge fitting for the dash bulbs and they slot straight in. They look really cool. I went for a cool not too bright white but you can go any colour or brightness you want. Cost all in is about £9 as opposed to the cost of the Jaeger conversion. A very cheap alternative I think.
