Dash not working

I still haven't got LIL back yet - long story to follow on another thread. However, should be the end of the week. When it does I need a sparky to look at the electrics - the dash isn't working. The lights work, pop up, provide brightness etc - but the dash has no light and speedo etc don't work. The seller told me this was intermitent but as he hardly used it (SORN) it could be an effect of storage. Any thoughts
 
It's easy enough to take it out and check the connections. There are 3 big milti-plugs that connect everything to the board.
