Dashboard and wheel refurb recommendations

Hey guys,

I'm new to this club so not entirely sure if this is the right way to ask for 944 advise, so please tell me if not.

I was wandering if anyone has either reconditioned or replaced their dashboard before and if so where they had it done...mine is pretty darn cracked.
I'm also looking at getting my wheels refurbed and was recommended 'Lepsons' by my garage, if anyone has any other recommendations please let me know.

Cheers,
Blake

Found it :-

though it actually starts a bit before that.

I recovered my dash (and a friend’s dash) with the eBay leather skin kits - they were JF Boots, now called Aforce Auto. When I removed the top layer of vinyl it was clear that they crack as its the foam underneath that cracks apart and as the vinyl is glued to it that gets damaged too.

Removing the dash isn't particularly difficult, just lots of steps - the Clarks Garage guide is, as ever, a lifesaver. The leather skin kits aren‘t perfect (and now they’ve ramped the price up to £300 they should be) so will need some fettling to look right.

As an alternative, I do have an uncracked black oval dash wrapped up in the loft that I’d let go for the same price as the leather skin kit.

Unfortunately I have an earlier 944 with the square dashboard, but I'll check out leather kits on Ebay, thanks so much.

Porsche did a limited run of new square dashes a couple of years ago - might be worth contacting them to see if there are any left...
