Dashboard trim "magic" fix

Hi, does anyone know if there is a product or company that can remove the 3 holes made by a car-phone kit and re-finish it to look original? Thanks!

Howard,

Pretty much any of the mobile dent and scratch brigade will do interior fixes. I've used Car Medic before with great success although all of these guys are franchise holders so abilities and skill will be very variable. If you can't get a "local" recommendation you'll have to question them before you book so see if they are able and/or willing to do it.

Regards

Dave

I bought a leather an vinyl repair kit from Frosts to repair the seat in my cab. It would work for that and one day I'll get around to using it on my centre console. You mix the colour you need from a set of pots they provide (with instructions) and then apply heat to make it set. It worked a charm on my seat.

About £11 for the Frost kit as I remember, but if you'd rather give the likes of Paul Smith your money... [:D]

I found that thing a right PITA to use. I got one to fix the cracks in my dash (before I found a "new" one), and it was quite difficult to do. But then I was attempting to fix around very tight contours!. I'm actually thinking the same thing to give it a go on my centre console where my old phone kit was though......

ORIGINAL: Fen

Cheers for the plug Fen [:)] but I don't do interiors ................yet.

I might do the course one day but I'm too busy doing painting so far. I tried the Frost kit a few years ago on some telephone holes but didn't do a very good job. I managed to find a S/H console without holes but I've kept the spare one in the loft for when I can repair it properly [;)]
