Dashboard Warning Light

I'm currently in a loan car from Porsche Chester (991.2 Carrera). This amber warning light has come on and flashes constantly when driving (see image). It looks like something to do with the lights judging by the image. Can anyone tell me what it is as there is no owners manual in the car?

You need to change the light switch from "Auto" to "Off". The light sensor is operating the lights intermittently when there are dark road patches.

Clive

Still having issues with this light. It was flashing permanently on the way to work this morning from start-up even when I switch auto lights off and full lights on! This was in bright sunshine.

The warning light is dipped beam/driving lights on/off.
Suggest you check if the headlights are being powered up when the dash-light comes on. If they are, it needs to be rectified right away, faulty sensor etc.

If its just the dash-light flashing intermittently, stick some tape over it to avoid distractions and report it when you hand back the vehicle.
Regards,
Clive

Thanks Clive. I've driven the car again this morning and the sunlight is no brighter and now no warning light so probably a fault. If it happens again, I'll get out and check the headlights.
