Dave Hillmans passing, I knew Dave well and we chatted lots about life Porsches , people and photography .......we would meet up in London and California
Dave had a motorbike accident Yesterday and I was hoping he would pull though once he got to hospital. But Yesterday he died.
He is huge in the 912 world, if not the single most person that gatherd so many like minded 912 owners world wide

I will miss my friend

Gosh what a shock. I didn't know that Mark.

Can't believe it.

Great guy and such an important person for us 912 folk worldwide. He will sorely missed.

I know I can't quite get my head round this either.. I keep expecting to get an Email from him......

I am so glad a few of us met up with him in London, I know he liked that because from starting the website for Bay 912 owners it grew to be one of the biggest central 912 web sites in the world. All started from one man, Dave Hilman. Such a huge loss.

Sounds like a fitting epitaph.

I'm sure the guys in the US will be organising something, we should try to do something here.
Obviously I will write something for PP and the website in the meantime.
