To all .
Just had a call from Robin Walker Director and 911 early register organiser that they plan a visit into Scotland on Sunday 2nd May ,as part of the trip they plan to visit the David Coulthard museum in Twynholm ,and do a tour of the surrounding area .It would be nice if we could show some Scottish hospitality and join them, especially early 911 owners.I will keep you all informed as to the tour ,put this date in your diary.
Regards Brian RO 1

To All See write up in PP about this event [early 911 reg ] Please support this and show some Scottish support sounds like a good day out Regards Brian RO1

Are you guys planning on visiting the museum or just doing a drive? I quite fancy a look around it.

Oh, and Greig, I'll bring the setting lotion, so you need only worry about the tongs!![:D]

To All .
Yes we plan to visit museum as well as the drive , but it will be a early start as I plan a convoy drive starting at Abington services on the M74 ,so will have to be there by 9.30 to be over to the museum for 10.30 .

To All
This will be a good day out ,so meet up at Abington Services on M74 as previously posted .It would be nice if members with older cars could attend, make the effort as it will be nice to meet up with fellow members from other regions, and will make a change from being draged around the garden centres.
Cheers Brian RO1

To All
I have been asked by the organisers of this event how many Scottish members will be turning up ,sadly I have only had a couple who said they would come .This is a good day out so try and join us ,either at the museam or at Abington Services at 9 am not 9.30 as in previous posting .it is after all a car club that you are members of so take it out and drive it,and meet like minded people I know you will not let me down .
Regards Brian RO1

Hi Brian,

We may be staying down in the area that weekend, if so I'll definately come along even if I have to borrow the mother in laws broomstick[:)]

2.4te (Dr Dave) . .

It would be great if you could make it, especially as it's 'ideally' an early 911 meet. I can't imagine there'd be a problem with bringing your 2 year old.

Good luck with the repairs.

Phil Johnson

Dr Dave .

You and your son will be more than welcome ,tell him to bring along a couple of his pals we need the numbers .Do you want to meet us there ,or at Abington services ?

Cheers Brian RO1

David Coulthard Museum ??

Whats on display?

Copies of David's school reports saying must try harder, or do they give trophies for coming 4th in the drivers championship, otherwise the cabinet must be either small, or empty.

Only kidding - have a nice time.

Andy .
Dispite his lack of wins over the years the museum is actualy full, and the displays are excellent ,so try it one day. PS all those that are comming on Sunday we have been invited to join the rest for lunch and after a drive .
Cheers BrianRO1

What have wins got to do with it...he overtook Schumacher on a bend, one hand on the wheel, other one giving Schumacher the finger...the man is a god for this moment alone[:D]
