Ok, not that serious and I'm sure I'll find bigger differences between the Lux and the S2, but how do you change the battery in the flashy key with the torch in it? [&:]
you prise it open with much care.

I remember changing the battery in mine....but the light still didn't work [&:]

Out of curiosity ... if you have remote central locking then what is the point of the torch in the battery? You aren't putting a key in the doorlock, so no need for illumination.
As far as making the light work goes, I did see some instructions on a US site about converting the key to a clear LED, which would be both brighter and use less juice. I can't remember the website, but someone else may have a link. (Or google may be your friend.)
Oli.
Don't you still need it to put the key in the ignition?

i've even seen a nice little mod for your key - a nice LED upgrade, available in whatever colour LED you want.

Ohh, I JUST made my own yesterday! I got SICK and tired of trying to find a working battery & bulb combo, so I tried copying Czar's idea!
check it out:
1 $2 Ultra-Brite blue LED (3.9V)
2 $3 Varta 3.6v batteries in series!
1 washer (to bring the 2 batteries to the same thickness as the 1.5V Varta.
and a little bit of solder!
Plus, the process is completely reversible!
I'm happy to say the thing is as bright as a high powered flashlight! It's a bit overkill, but damn it cool!
