day to day proposition

I have dipped in and out of Porsche ownership. Always thought a 993 the most beautiful.

Currently running a 2007 BMW 3 Series convertible. Does the job - 10 mile commute, some longer drives, kids to school etc.

Kenny Dunn in Edinburgh has what looks like a nice 1994 C2 Tip with c50k on the clock Is it a realistic day to day proposition?

Sure - but expect to spend some money on getting a 14 year old car up to scratch. I've had my 1994 C2 for six years now, and I'm still loving every minute of it. Mine had 45,000 miles on it when I bought it. Excellent car, wouldn't be without it.
