Dear Santa...

...my 944 has been really good this year and as a small Christmas present I wondered if he/she* (*delete as applicable) could have....

Being nagged for ideas - any suggestions (shall we say sub £50?)

Cheers...

E.g. Rear wiper delete bung - £20. Tidys up the rear end and saves kilos!

KLA / Rennbay ARB stabilizers

Rennbay stainless hatch pins (a bit pointless but shiny [:D])

Spare DME relay

new 3.0 SPS engine & turbo (OK - bit more than £50 [:D])

I've said it before and I'll say it again. 20 quid for a bung! Think about it; is that really worth 20 notes? I appreciate the OPC suite of parts from the 968 CS is even more expensive (but then as with most of the lightening in the CS it had to look light but actually weigh nearly the same as what it replaced).

2 rubber grommets for filling an aerial hole from Halfords for about a quid held in with clear silicone looks just as good from the outside, and from the inside looks better as it's a smooth black cap rather than an ugly nut.

Sunvisor clips
Gearlever cover
Centre console hinge repair kit
Boot pins

My saddest but favourite buys this yr

When I needed to plug the hole in my old hill climber, I used to 'rear wiper delete' (what a pretentious name) bung from a Fiesta popular: it cost under a pound. This raised a few eyebrows so in the end I changed all of the glass (inc hatch) for a set from a poverty spec 924, which was untinted and didnt have a wiper hole... I was a cunning cheat: no one ever saw my windows go up or down either, but they didnt ask questions because they seemed to go down. I made sure that they didnt see me swap the long support sticks for short support sticks.

the best, well most impressive, £50 I spent so far was a professional valet inside and out - LIL is gleaming...

Mmm valet sounds good . What about a really nice cup holder or soft leather armrest cassette box (think they are on ebay from China)
