December Club Night Cancelled!

I have just been into the centre of York and the main roads are skating rinks, I managed to power slide away from the traffic lights despite the high grip surface!

Taking this into account along with John Bushby's comments about the roads around Selby plus the fact that things are not going to get better I think it is only sensible to cancel December's club night. I don't mind driving in snow but I don't think it is wise to head out Hambleton way in the current conditions.

Since I have prepared the Quiz already we will hold this over to February club night along with the prizes.

Can everyone please let me know if they are coming to the Christmas Party along with your choices from the menu by the end of the week. You will find the menu on the Christmas party thread link here.

A wise move- just got back from Monk Fryston this evening after a meal out with friends. Went in the Merc which isnt good in the snow and only just got back ok. Conditions were deadly. Very relieved to be home in one piece!!!

Famous last words, yesterday I said that we are not expecting any snow. It has now been snowing solidly since 8.45 and the world has disappeared.
