Wednesday 15th December
Monthly Meeting "" Garstang Golf Club. Start 20.00 Hours. Social evening with a fun festive quiz. Last opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for the Mega Christmas Hampers. Draw to take place at Christmas Lunch Sunday 20th December at Garstang Golf Club

Sunday 27th December
Non Turkey Pub Lunch. Blue Anchor, Bretherton, Nr Chorley. [/b]For those of you who want to get some fresh air and a non-turkey lunch we will be meeting for an informal pub lunch/carvery at The Blue Anchor, Bretherton, Nr Chorley at 12.00. Please let me know ASAP if you will be coming along so that we can reserve enough seats in the busy establishment. Children welcome

The meeting on Wednesday is the last chance to sign up for the Christmas Lunch. £14.95 per person and £7.50 for children. If you haven't already signed up, where have you been??

As a matter of interest, apart from the mega-hamper, which is so heavy the suspension of our elderly 944 is under strain, there are eight other wonderful prizes, which have all been donated by our members. Thanks to everyone who has contributed. Make sure you don't miss out on the chance to buy a ticket.

Forgot to mention :- Christmas Lunch at Garstang is at 12.30pm for 1.00pm.

We usually meet in the Bar area before we are ushered into the Kirkland Suite.

May I wish all members of Lancashire and Cumbria Region a Happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year. I hope to see many of you at some of our events throughout the year. The 2010 events calendar is now almost filled, and I will e-mail a copy out in due course.

Sunday 27th December "" Pub lunch / No Turkey Carvery "" The Blue Anchor, Bretherton, Nr Chorley. £7.95 for 2 courses. Dean has reserved some seating space, but we need to meet at 12.00, to make sure we are accommodated.

20th January Monthly Meeting- Garstang GC- New Members Night "" Rachel Haslam will be telling us about her trip to Borneo to raise funds for Rosemere Cancer Centre, Preston, which I know several members have had treatment at. Special raffle with proceeds going to Rosemere.
