PCGB. Region 9. West Midlands

Our Meetings are on the First Tuesday of the Month, Except for January, where I have set it back to the
8th, as the previous Tuesday is New Year's Day. Always at the Bear Inn, Berkswell unless advertised otherwise

Our November meeting was particularly productive, with a group of old and new members, offering suggestions for next year, prompted by a starter list, produced by Paul Seagrave. Paul also accompanied me to the Workers Conference, as a representative of Region 9. He took many notes and I am sure he will have had things to tell you at our December meeting.

I am producing a Programme for the year and to whet your appetite, it will contain the following when I have "shuffled the cards". A Concours to be held at Paul Seagrave's place; trip to Nurburgring; Karting; Curborough; Shelsley Walsh; probably Prescott; some trips to support Club Racing; Friday track night at Donnington; visit to OPC Sutton Coldfield on Tuesday August the 5th; Santa Pod in May; a visit to Betws-y- Coed motor museum and on to Criccieth, a long day in September; Shakespeare/Coventry Run; A day in the Peak District; Clay Pigeon shooting; Gliding; a visit to Meguiars in March and much more. Yeeees ! I'm trying to programme all this and promise to fit it all in if possible, along with other Club arranged events.

No doubt, we shall not all be able to make every trip. If you have experience of the Nurburgring and would like to lead an expedition, I would be pleased to talk with you. Thank you to the Musgroves and the Billingtons for their input and Colin has fixed our date with OPC. Sutton Coldfield.

Annual Lunch.

This will be on Sunday 20th January 2008, at The Bear Inn, Berkswell. 12.30pm for 1pm.

A full three course lunch with mince pies at £15.50. Many of you will have received a Booking Form from me. The Form is now on the Forum. Otherwise please contact me to Book. Please do this as soon as possible, to reduce my anxiety stress. You have up to the 12th January, as a final date for doing so.

Forthcoming Meetings.

January Meeting is to be on the 8th, owing to the first Tuesday being New Year's Day.

Tuesday 5th February,

We shall start the New Year with a short talk on Electrical Relays, their types, workings, testing and fault finding.

AMOC are arranging a Karting event in Stourbridge as last year. Date to be agreed.

Saturday 8th March

A morning visit to Meguiar's facility at Daventry, followed by a pub-lunch. Other dates fully booked.

Saturday 22nd, Clay Pigeon Shooting at Minsterley Ranges. We cannot now get a full day on Sundays, owing to local miseries.

By February, you should all be able to get a Programme for the above.

So, have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year to all. John Lord.

Just a reminder that the club meeting is on the 8th and NOT the 1st of the month, due to common sense prevailing [;)]
