It appears the Porsche Post in December has not been printed very well with most of it missing.

Here is a copy of what should have been in the magazine.

Regards
Scott.

Happy Christmas to Everyone, Hope you all have a great time over the festive period and Santa brings you all the Porsche Accessories that
you are looking for. I am the process of trying to organise various things for 2014 and would be very happy to hear what R1 members would like
organised or if anyone wishes to run an event or perhaps even become Assistant RO for Region 1. My darling little girl Olivia while loving her recent
trips in the Porsche and the convertible that shall remain nameless isn't quite at the stage to assist dad with events, so if there is someone
(ideally on the east side of the country) that would like to assist with events or become ARO then give me a call.

Also at this time of year I like to thank some of the key members that have helped over the year with events. Alan Locke has certainly been a
great supporter of the club and has assisted in bringing along the club gazebo on many occasions. Brian Wood has to get a mention as an
ambassador of the club especially with his organisation for Porsche in the Glen. Gordon Campbell does a huge amount of organising behind the
scenes for the track minded members not to mention becoming a bit of a legend on track for the man with the most black flags (Just kidding Gordon).
Our member of the year however for 2013 is Alistair Lobban. Alistair is a long term member of PCGB and has supported the club for many years.
As many of you will know Alistair has had a long and complicated illness this year and spent many months in hospital. I was touched/impressed
that Alistair and his wife Josephine made the effort to attend this years Concours at Blair Atholl even although Alistair couldn't leave the side of
his car due to still being connected to medical equipment. Alistair we wish you all the best for a continued recovery and hope to see you at more
events in 2013.

Open day at RPM Perth

We were invited to Russell Patterson's Morgan and Caterham dealership in Perth. We met at the usual Dobbies garden centre near Stirling for a
great breakfast followed by a drive up to Perth. We arrived at Perth around lunchtime and were greeted by Russell and given a chat on the dealership,
the history of Morgan and Caterham, then following some lunch "" courtesy of R1 "" we were allowed a look around the workshop. The workshop
contained some of the race cars that RPM support and some of the cars that are undergoing full restorations. For a reasonable fee RPM will provide
you a race prepared V8 Morgan with full support to run the Classic/Historic racing series in the UK and going by the results are very competitive.
We were also treated to having three demo cars for test drives, a 300bhp Morgan Roadster, a Plus 4 Morgan and a 200bhp Caterham. As it was a
dry day, roofs were down and I had a run out in the Plus 4 along the A9 for a short while enjoying the fresh air (cold fresh air I have to admit) but
a great experience and a car I have admired for a long time. We had an excellent turn out on the day with around 25 members attending and I
think everyone really enjoyed the visit. Many thanks to Russell for his time and use of his cars.
