I was worried you were leaving us when you talked about selling a while back. A new Cayman or Boxster is an excellent choice.

Lot of car for the money.

Sad day though Mark.

A 911 is still an incredible car. Even a 996.

Every time I think about it going I have a wobble.

Must admit I have been thinking along the same lines myself. Having driven the new 991 there is just not that much difference between it and the car I have now. There does however seem to have been a steep price increase and I would need about £70k to swap. Well I am sorry but the 991 is just not a £70k better car than mine.

For me the 911 is just a toy which sits in the garage most of the time. I don' t really feel like sitting another £70k in there with it when I can keep it in the bank and earn a whopping 2 percent interest!!

The new Boxster and Cayman both look gorgeous cars at much more appealing prices. In a year or two when the dreaded depreciation has taken its toll then they will be even more tempting.

Mmmmmm- do we go for the Cayman with that lovely rear hatch or the Boxster with the open air option- the only trouble is that I don't want to be called a hairdresser!!

Cheers,

Chris

Chris, I am sure you could turn your hand to anything including hair dressing :)

The new Cayman is a brilliant performer and that's just the base model. At 2 to 3 years old they are going to be bargin of the century.
