Defroster panel buzz

Hi all,

I have an intermittent buzz coming from the front defroster panel. I took it in to an OPC but they did little more than butcher it and solved nothing so I had a go myself. Replacing the clips that the OPC had either lost or bent beyond any use. I thought I had solved it as I had wrapped the locating pins and clips in a material tape but after a long journey it was back. Any ideas as to how I can solve this much appreciated.

A buzz is probably the worst thing ever to find, both for you and the dealer [:(]
I think its a return to the OPC and give them another crack at it..
assuming its under warranty ..

New clips, and securing screws - also some strategic placement of foam tape. Not the easiest place to diagnose where the buz is coming from though, as there are lots of trim pieces in that area []

Thanks guys. It is under warranty but having seen there bodged attempt I think I'll give it a miss, as you say it's the worse thing ever to find I would take it to another dealer but I feel it would of taken half a dozen trips.

Anyway the upshot is with a load of messing I think I've sorted it...I hope

Now to cure the buzz from the door when low end bass plays
