If I ever delete posts (its only happened once, in the early days) I will inform the 'poster' of the reasons why and hope they understand.

If you have had a post deleted and you have not been informed, then it wasn't me.

Just so you know... [;)]

But gavin y couldnt it of been edited??

This sort of thing is the main reason i dont come on much nowadays

It was my post and as a memeber prob to be Ex PCGB Member I asked a quick question to my on line friends as I needed some info. Once the People had replied to me I Emailed them off the forum.

I did this in order to not fill up the forum with a non Porsche related item. I am pleased I did it it has helped me. Thanks to the people who responded.

So does this mean the BIG Porsche club stick has come out again!!!. Well next time I am at another club meet I stop any one who dares start talking about anything other than Porsche cars.

Miggs I am the same as you this club is getting too A*** there will come a time when we all move on. The 912 Forum is the best I have been involved with so far becasue it is low key and informative on all matters but when a non 12 owner mess's up the flow it's a shame.

I was not going to continue the thread as I had the responce I wanted. Ban me if you like I couldn't give a .......

Wow Mark, calm down....

This a Porsche forum and I think it is right to keep posts "on topic", ie Porsche. To counter that argument there is a bunch of people on this forum with internet design experience, and a quick question for help is no probelm, as long as the discussion continues off forum. My 2 cents

Personally I think the problem was that someone was offering commercial oportunities that were business related. This really isn't in the spirit of the forum, if you want to 'advertise' your services then email the person directly, can't see a problem with that.

Advice is one thing, advertising is another.

Whatever we may think personally, those are the rules of the Forum, we can petition to change them if we want, its our club.

I think the benefits here far out weigh the few down sides.

The debate about 912's in the Post was a great example of how we can change things... watch this space, or the cover of the PP [;)]
