Has anyone received a firm delivery date for their new boxster yet?

My OPC does not know yet - my tongue is hanging out.

John I have a delivery date of March 05 as this was my personal selected date. 2 Weeks ago I was offered a November build / January delivery date which I turned down for various reasons, not enough time to ponder spec, I don't use car much if at all during Jan/Febs so not much point in going for it now and also I didn't want literally first few weeks production just in case of teething troubles. So I would say your dealer needs a good kick up the exit pipe :rolleyes: Another dealer I happened to be stalking a few weeks ago, whilst looking at a Cobalt Blue example as this was on my maybe list, offered me a Feb build /March delivery car.

With the cobalt blue you will definitely have to paint the side vent - they stand out like a sore thumb. The front vents on the boxster are black with side vents silver!

Are any vehicles being supplied at the end of November/early December? The Paris dealer I spoke to at the show said that if you ordered now you would get delivery in January! My OPC is talking of 12 months waiting list!

[&o]Me thinks your PC is talking b*ll*x with greatest respects to him of course! You are not dealing with Mr Campbell by any chance :ROFLMAO:

It seems likely that a lot of UK customers will be specifying "March 05 Delivery";

- New Registration Date
- Winter gone - Spring on the way (hopefully)
- Time to sus out the various options
- Time for Porsche to practice making a few first

However, I have been told by my OPC that they will be needing the spec. pretty soon, so I suspect that these cars could be built early and stored to avoid a production bottleneck in January/February.
