Hi all
Thinking of getting one installed to link my Iphone. Im not worried about the bluetooth bit, I just want to play my music and have some control from the head unit (PCM2.0). Who's got it and is it worth the money? I was goung to go for mObridge but the supplier suggested the Dension if I didnt want the bluetooth. Ive been quoted £470 for the supply and install.
Pro's and Con's please.

if you haven't already have a play with one (or mobridge) the interface is similar

its rather restrictive compared to what your used to from an iphone

I bought a used Dension 500 through a forum and had a friend fit it in lieu of my CD stacker which was already enabled (meaning I didn't have to go to a dealership for anything). I use it to play MP3s from a USB stick but only because I'm too lazy to run the cable through the bulkhead into the cabin for my iPhone 4. £470 supplied and installed is actually pretty good. The latest versions are far more advanced when it comes to Bluetooth.

I have one of these in my cayenne and my brother has the same unit in his 997. The unit is good, however the interface is a little clunky and if you have a lot of music (15gb in my case) scrolling through to find the music that you want is very slow.

I hear that the latest 500S is better, but I have not tried one.
