Hey guys, I just noticed that my 997 has a tiny dent in the roof. Can anyone recommend a good dent removal guy in London ? Also whilst I have had dents removed from doors before, has anyone had experience of people removing dents from a roof and is it any more complicated ?

Thanks in advance !

Which part of London are you in, I have a guy who is fantastic and is based in Surrey and South London...

His name is Joe and his number is: 07740245765 please feel free to mention my name.

Hey guys,

Just had the dent removed by a guy called Martin, the 'original' Dentman.
Cannot speak highly enough about the quality of his work and professionalism.
If anyone needs work doing his website is http://www.dentman.co.uk and contact number 07774 812 512.
He gave me a firm quote by phone once I had sent him photos of the dent, turned up on time, did a superb job and actually charged me less than he originally quoted as he said it was easier than he expected.

Pretty rare to find this quality of service these days !

Thanks Dean for the response, actually only just saw it but appreciate you letting me know anyway.

I was about to recommend Martin when I saw this thread. He's taken dents out of my old 996 (roof and rear panel) and did an excellent job, also charged me less than quoted, as you said very rare these days.

Joe did a great job on our Daughter's Cayenne which hit a branch of a fallen tree in the recent heavy winds.

I would certainly reccommend his work in the South. We have used him a lot for the company vehicle 'Dings' in preference to relacing panels.

Just happy that your car was sorted, Joe has done several cars for me including a bad dent on my Ferrari and the job was fantastic. It's a good idea to keep the numbers of guys like this as you never know...

It's really something to behold. He gently pulled down the rubber beading around the door trim and managed to insert his tool above the headlining. A delicate process of encouraging the dent out took about 30mins, pulled the tool out, pushed back the rubber beading and job done !!
