Dent Repair

Can anyone recommend a good dent repair company in the Leamington Spa area?

I went over to Focus this afternoon, and parked up near the curb in the carpark thinking, "well, at least there's only one side for somone to park next to". When I came back I found not just a small ding but a huge dent in the previously flawless rear quater[]

No note, no sorry and worst of all no CCTV so it looks like I'll never find out who did it. It's a lot higher than normal bumper height to it must have been someone in a 4x4, either carlessly trying to get in the space next to me, or just not looking where they were going when reversing[:(] Either way they obviously legged it afterwards.

So now I have the task of trying to fix it. If anyone has had a good experience with a local dent repairer, or even a body shop who wont just grace it with a hammer and a pot of filler I would be very greatful.

Cheers

That really sucks! I can imagine the horrible moment of the double take walking back to your car[:(]. Sorry of no help, but only to sympathise.
If it helps, I have just got in from visiting Blockbuster. Walking back to my car, there were two kids pi$$ing against it. They were only three and five years old (bless 'em) with their Mother some distance away, laughing. I suppose, they didn't just choose any old car!
Anyway, good luck with getting it sorted.[:)]

I got this number from this forum months ago, I have not used them, but give them a call.

" Ace Dent Tel: 0208-859-8382 Excellent workmanship "

Good Luck

That looks awful Rich []

I had a long chat with the Leamington Chips Away franchise a few years ago (in Sainsburys car park)and if he is still in business he sounded very knowledgable and was enthusiastic about an old car he owned himself (can't remember what).

His name was Duncan Kirby on 01926 811198 or 07789 870037 - good luck

Cheers Paul, I'll give him a go.

Strangly I got the number for what I thought was the Leamington Chips Away and it's different and the guys name is Sid?? Maybe there are two, or it's just changed over. Anyway Sid is coming to see it tomorrow to give me a quote and see if there is anything he can do to save it.

I'm optomistic, as at least it's in the middle of the panel and the access to the rear of it is about the best you could hope for so you never know. All the scuff marks polished out apart from one fine scratch at least. I still can't believe it, I've felt sick all weekend since[:(]

I'll let you know how I get on

Rich

I'd be careful with Chips-Away etc. Perhaps AndyRR will tell you his Scuffs story if you ask nicely.

Let's just say his cab looks lovely in red after a full professional respray but when he bought it it only needed some stone chips attending to...

Well it turns out chips away dont do dent repair other than fill and paint stuff so there isn't anything he can do anyway. I'm still on the lookout for someone to fix it, it seems all the dent repair people don't come to this area[] I've tried a few but they don't come out this far.
