Hi everyone

We have organised a lunch at 12.30 on Saturday 1st March as an early R8 event

It is at the White Hart Inn at Moorwood Moor, nr to Chrich in Derbyshire (The address is Alfreton, though it about 10 miles away from the town)

http://www.thewhitehartmoorwoodmoor.co.uk/

(The link may take a second or two to load)

We have been there several times and it is a lovely pub/resturant with an excellent large car park and good, home cooked food.

If you want to join us (and give the car an early spring run out on some Derbyshine lanes) please let us know either on the forum , by email - R8@porscheclubgb.com or at the next club night at the Cooper's Arms on Feb 3rd

If we have enough then we can have a room to ourselves and a little discount on the price of the meals

Days will be longer then and the spring will be just around the corner

Cheers

Kerry and Tom

An excellent idea and the venue looks good. A shame for me it's on a Saturday as I have prior commitments.

Enjoy!

Hi D

We debated whether to have it on a Saturday or Sunday and chose Saturday as we have previously used this day for lunch outings

If anyone wants to comment on Saturday versus Sunday please let us know for future outings

Thanks

Kerry

Hello Kerry and Tom

We can do either Saturday or Sunday.

Hi

Would everyone who is unable to attend the meeting this Monday click onto

http://www.thewhitehartmoorwoodmoor.co.uk/menus.html#

and choose from the main menu /dessert course, one, two or three courses and let me have your preferences before the day either on the forum, by email or phone me.

A lunchtime fixed price menu will be on the board on the day but this is very limited and changes everyday.

I have arranged a discount on the set prices which will depend on how many join us on the day.

At the moment it looks like there will be 20+ attendees

Meet 12 - 12.30 for a 1.00pm meal.

If you can attend on Monday night I will have copies of the menu to hand.

(Could not copy from the menu or would have pasted on here [:(] )

Cheers

Kerry and Tom

Kerry & Tom

Sounds like a great idea, hog roast ....... Yum, Yum!!!!

Happily 'Trot' along to that one [:D]

The feeling at club night yesterday was very much in favour of a hog roast at the White Hart this Spring/Summer, so watch this space.................[;)]
