Hello,

Has anybody sat in or fitted these Spider seats in a 944 or 968?

I'm looking for some reasonably priced CS like hardback shell seats, these seem to fit the bill. www.designtek.eu or they can be seen on Design911

What be good to hear your impressions on comfort/value.

Thanks

Graham

Seats are a pretty important saftey item,if you buy them ask for a certificate of testing and ask where they are made, they look nice but never hurts to ask?The Cobra seat range available from Demon tweeks are in a couple of cars of this forum and are not that expensive and the suzuka seat i know has fia sticker on the side so must be up to a standard of some sort even for a cheaper seat.

Ouch, 6.5 KG for carbon fibre, and £2K?! Makes the original Recaro SPG/SPAs seem pretty good value..and they seem to look similar, too.

ORIGINAL: Tam Lin

Wow! I'll make a very sweeping statement with absolutely no facts to back me up but that sounds like style over function.

My steel framed Corbeaus are 8kg for around £130 new and have Fia approval stamps
