Hi peeps please stress im still trying to gauge interest in my venture. If this is against forum please remove. I am in the process of setting up my own car detailing service. I have recently been doing some work now im really going to build a client base so i can give this a real go. Basically the service i am hoping to provide is a full exterior valet which includes: Wash rinse and dry, Clay bar treatment, Paint cleaner, Polish, Sealer and glaze, Wax. Also wheels will be gleaming, tyres shined, tail pipes shines and glass polished. The process can take anywhere between 4-6 hours depending on vehicle. Who would be interested in such a service? Thanks for your time and help Steve

I'm not sure we still have forum rules anymore as even the Reg Sec is posting cars for sale. [8D]

Level of interest would depend on how good a job you can do, cost and location. Come and do my car for a totally unbiased product review.

JCB..

Eh?
One post on behalf of a member - we've always done that.

Steve,

The thing that bothers me about your post is that the only posts you've made are to advertise your new service, and you've posted them across many forums (which IS against the "rules").
We have detailers that post on the forum, but they tend not to push their services, instead they help others gain knowledge with hints and tips to help them clean their own cars. If someone then asks them to do their car for them (and it happens ) then great! But they are not explicitly posting to advertise.

Hope that's clear. [:)]

Yeah i can see what u are saying and sorry to offend any forum members. I would be very helpful in any questions that anyone has across the forum. I will be hanging around now and i can see how it looks. I can assure u im not here just for a cheap way to advertise, im here to offer any help i can and also to offer a service that i actually do enjoy for some insane reason.

Hi Steve,
Helping with queries in the Concours section would be a good start; you will see some traders actually publishing details article how to prepare and clean the car and some drop in products like Zymol Royale Glaze which I think is some £7,000 a pot and so they are sure if anyone will want to use it they will use their service...

...anyway, I will remove your post from the London region (as I am responsible for keeping it clean and shiny [;)])

All the best,
London Region RO
