Well just for a bit of info,

I am very embarrassed to say!.

You know that Stupid stuff they advertise on the shopping channel for cleaning your car when its dirty without water (How dumb).

If you use it after a wash and wax as a quick detailing spray it KICKS ASS.
forget Dodo Juice Red mist or poorboys or autogylm. (red mist is sticky and horrible).

My cars have always sold easy, because of the condition the paint has been kept.
All the products people buy in Halfrauds are a waste of money.

I was given a bottole of this show room shine by someone that knew how much of a sceptic I would be and wanted me to eat my words.

I did. It is pretty damm good.

Just don't be silly and try to use it like they advertise obviously you would end up with a car full of swirl marks.

If you visit Cornbury House on Sunday 3rd July, as per Porsche Post June edition page 16, our honorary member and Swissvax supplier Andrew Mearns is presenting a detailing session, should be very interesting, I am looking at leaving super resin and high gloss to try Swissvax and view the rsulting changes and appearance, Andrew and team are also sponsoring a BBQ on the day.

See you there from 10am. (PCGB club office, Cornbury House, Cotswold business village, London road, Moreton-In-marsh, Glos Postcode GL56 0JQ.All welcome.

Regards to all forum users.

A couple of years ago I did the exact same thing when I was off ill and bored. Best move I made!

I was a Zymol guy for years before that, but it kills my back getting that gloss shine.

What was advertised was 'Pro-Shine' and I sent away for it just to see how good it was. I have never looked back and my cars are better than ever. It can be found at Netparts / Vertar / eBay.

It is so easy to use too - wipe on wipe off. Takes me 20 mins to do the whole car and that's with a dodgy back!

Yes I was a massive skeptic.

And this stuff is cheap compared not only to the prices of cleaning products but the time wasted using them as to get good results normally takes a long time.

I use it round the house too my bathroom shines too.

I also mix fabric conditioner with water for cleaning glass as it leaves a nice silky finish after that lasts unlike rain x etc.

Hi Richard.

Some interesting stuff! Can you tell me what ratio you mix the fabric conditioner to the water to get the glass cleaner?
(Now there's a sentence that I thought that I'd never see - let alone compose!)

Adrian.

Hi Adrian,

About 25% conditioner 75% water.
But I use it for loads of different things, Shower glass, sinks etc brings em up a treat. (our secret)

Ive not tried it but I reckon it would make a great lube for when you Clay a car too, its so slippery.
I will post the results when i try it, However not much to try as you can just use water with clay anyway.

Yep - 'Showroom Shine by Greased Lightening' is superb......!
I too was a great sceptic, but now FULLY converted - and I'm a real fussy so-and-so !!!!

I also recommemd 'Greased Lightening - Stain Shifter' for carpets and mats.
While my car is never dirty, the stain shifter brings the carpets up like new - with very very little effort - just a light spray and wipe !!!!

Damn - I should be on commission !!!!!! Buy them, you wont look back.........

So far Ive stocked up on 5 ltrs of the stuff it is amazing. And I want my own shopping channel.

I hoping to not ever buy anything from one of those magazines in the Sunday papers.
