Sorry mark. My mistake.

Well the details are basically as follows - oh I have sent my membership away in the post. [;)]

Sunday the 24th of June, detailing open day with carwashandwax (i am not associated etc with this company so its not a plug)
Unit 7 Flemington Ind. Estate
Hamilton Road
Cambuslang

The open day includes special offers on the day, the chance to demo products and tools. Just a good day out if you like your car care. They are also selling products throughout the day incase you fancy anything! Hopefully the weather holds up and I get to meet some fellow Porsche owners.

might be along also !

take it,, its not going to be full of ford fiesta with blacked out windows ???

Its not really a max power type site. If the weather holds up then it should be an excellent day. Ill bring my Boxster and hopefully show some rotary and porter cable polishing on it with various products. I dont have any Chemical Guys stuff as yet but it is supposed to be very good.

Sorry for any confusion,my comments were re.the linking of "blacked out" windows and ford fiestas. As an autotinter dealing with the "upper" end of the market,it get a bit tired after 15 years.

I can imagine it would Ray, would be good to have all interested parties leave their names on the detailingworld website so that David knows how many are coming! Hopefully quite a few [:)]

The last Continental Gt I did have a factory sub but I don't remember seeing any furry dice, maybe Roy keane needed the space to hang up his boots!

Name dropper ...should be along to see work ,interested in how good they take swirl marks out .

Swirl marks are a breeze to remove, the hard bit is keeping them away. Good wash technique is the best place to start after a paint preparation and rejuvination.

I used to do a fair bit of detailing so I have a pretty in depth knowledge of this stuff and im always picking up new ideas from the guys on the site.

ill be demo'ing a basic wash and alloy care. There will be various other demo's including swirl removal, waxing and also paint depth readings, to see just how much paint you have to play with !
