Detective work - can anyone help

Hi All, I've currently got a 987.2 which I've had from Jan 2022. I believe (from what I can recall) that the previous owner was on this site and I think was (at least at some point in the past) held a position within the PCGB hierarchy, maybe a chairman or director?

Issue is that due to some unfortunate issues with my email, all correspondence I had with him leading up to / just after the purchase was lost, this included pics of the service history.

I was wondering (obviously being aware of things like privacy and GDPR type rules) if there was a way I could get in touch with him via this forum? I can't remember any of the chaps name, or profile details, but the car was / is a 987.2 Boxster S in Guards Red with a hardtop. It was bought in or around the Exeter area if that helps anyone, and I believe the chap was planning on moving to Portugal. It used to have a plate B6 FUN (which was quite cool!) but the previous owner kept this. He also had a rather nice 981 GTS in blue if this is of any help!

911hillclimber - I hope you're right! I wasn't really sure where else I could go or what else I could do - it's a bit of a shot in the dark to be honest!

There are three avenues I could suggest:

1. Contact the Boxster Register Secretary who may hold historical details such as the Reg No.
2. Failing that try club office who may also be able to trace the owner via the Reg No.
3. Finally, try and get a small article in Porsche Post to trace the owner. Club Office should be able to assist you.Good luck

Good luck!

Does the car have a PCGB Regional window sticker on it? If yes, contact the Regional Organiser relating to the sticker.

Many thanks for the suggestions so far! Jdpef356 - No PCGB regional sticker on it. On a related note I believe it was a OPC car before it went to the previous owner, obviously Porsche wouldn't hold those details (back in around 2013) or hand them over to me, but might have some service history?
