diagnostic plug

After going to the local maindealer for a service the car (2002 carrera 4s) developed a misfire. The dealer had reported three cracked coil packs which we replaced but the car still has a miss. The engine management light is still flashing and visually the other coil packs look ok.
I have ordered three more coil plugs and a new set of spark plugs but i would like to plug in to the diagnostic machine. Our machine only gives the location of the plug for a 1999 car not a 2002 model.
Can anyone tell me where the plug is on this model and also is there anything else that could be causing the miss.

Thankyou

Same place as the '99 - Left hand side of the passenger footwell at the bottom of the dash. Once you get the fault codes you should get a better idea of what the problem is.

We have plugged the car in to the diagnostic machine and it brought up a fault on No.2 cylinder. We changed the coil pack and plug and it was still the same, we then changed all the coil packs and plugs the car ran ok for a few minutes then started to miss and the eml light started to flash again.
Our diagnostic machine does not show any faults, could it be a wiring fault?

Thankyou

Probably best to find someone with a PST2 or PIWIS tester. Whereabouts are you located?

Edit: Could be an injector? That's why I was looking for the fault code, as it would show exactly what's going on.

We are in Llanelli south wales, I have also been told it could be a lambda probe fault ??

Thanks

I doubt it, because it would affect the whole bank, rather than one cylinder.

Sorry, I don't know anyone in that area with a Porsche tester. If you drop me an email, I will send you a pdf of the P0203 "Misfire Detection Cylinder 2" diagnostic sheets, but I'm not sure how much help they will be if that isn't the correct fault code.
