I have a very similar looking WiFi OBD2 interface (about £10 on eBay), which I use with my iPhone. I use a cheapie App called EngineLink. Here are a few screenshots:

This looks exactly like the one I got: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/WIFI-ELM327-Wireless-OBD2-Auto-Scanner-Adapter-Scan-Tool-for-iPhone-ipad-iPod-/261449716323 (but it was about a year ago, and I can't remember the eBay seller I used). Yes, it will read and reset engine DTCs. The app is available from iTunes app store: https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/engine-link-obd-ii-vehicle/id591557194?mt=8

Thanks... Going to buy one. I like gadgets like that. I have a handheld unit, D900?, it works well on on a few of my cars but not on the Cayman.

The one I bought was £10.37... I've just checked and the same vendor has put the price up to £11.56.... That's quite a rise in 1 week. Anyway, still not arrived yet.

Actually, I ordered one at £12.99 the seller contacted me "sorry sold out" refund sent, I later that day checked their advert and it was £10 dearer! Exact same ad and same quantity of stock.[] No replies to emails !

I got one through Amazon and it arrived in 5 days KingMansion ELM327 WIFI Wireless OBD2 OBDII Car Auto Diagnostic Scanner Adapter Reader for iPhone4S/5 iPad4 iPad mini iOS PC Sold by High Tech International £13.99

Mmmm, my ipad1 is on iOS 5.1.1 and is too old to upgrade. The apps all seem to need iOS 6 and above... So, I've not tried my scanner yet.

Now available for £4.89 delivered.... An absolute bargain. I have used this company before with no problems... Be quick, it's only at this price for a few days... http://www.tmart.com/OBD2-II-EOBD-ELM327-Bluetooth-Software-Can-Bus-Scanner-Tool_p107989.html?utm_source=newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_content=11up&utm_campaign=Jun11-2014-11up
