Events planned/proposed to date:-

Tueday 6th January - Monthly Club Meeting
At the Gardeners, Ardingly. Commences 20:00 "" Come and show what you got for Christmas!

Thursday 8th January - Porsche Centre Mid Sussex Open Evening
Andy Crabb and the team have invited the region to tour the new premises in BUrgess Hill only weeks after they have opened. I'll post details in a seperate thread after Xmas.

Tuesday 3rd February "" Monthly Club Meeting
At the Gardeners, Ardingly. Commences 20:00 "" all welcome.

Tuesday 2nd March "" Monthly Club Meeting
We are arranging a talk on GPS Speed Camera Locators and the ever so useful Laser Garage Door openers (the ones that coincidentally make laser speed measurement equipment error!). I expect a good turnout for this so please call if you are intending to come so I can ensure that we have the right sized room at the pub. Should be a good one!

April TBA Outdoor Go Karting

May TBA Treasure Hunt
And this time will do it!

Friday 28th May "" Monday 31st May. Le WOTY
We will again be running our annual WOTY to France. The dates are the last Bank Holiday weekend in May leaving on the Friday morning and returning Monday evening. We will be visiting the region of Normandy which is packed full of interesting history relating to WW2. The 60th anniversary of D-Day is this year so the region will no doubt be marking this event. As in previous years I will be organising visits to places of interest in the area, and suggesting pleasant routes to drive, but these are always optional and we aim to have a very relaxed weekend during which people are free to choose how they spend their time. The hotel itself is superb and has good facilities including an award winning restaurant, stables and riding on the beach and rooms of a high standard. The hotel website is www.le-grand-hard.com. We will be travelling over by ferry, with a tunnel option for those who prefer. As a guide a standard double room with a Dover Calais crossing to include breakfast and dinner will be about £430-£450 per couple, but there will be various room and route combinations from which you can choose. Please let me know if you will be joining us as early ferry bookings are usually cheaper.

Saturday 6th June Sussex Region Summer Event
I have deliberately renamed this event to reflect transition that has taken place over the last couple of years from a Concours focused event to a more general get together and social day. With the name change will come a new format but it will still include the Concours competition, regional display and, of course, the stunning weather we benefit from each year!?!

25th, 26th and 27th June Goodwood Festival of Speed
Last year the club had a major presence, the first or many years. The success of the PCGB stand was plain for all to see but we want to improve on the formula for this year. Volunteers will be required to help on each of the days over the weekend. If you are interested please pick up the phone and call me on 01293 886759 to discuss.

24th and 25th July Le Mans Classic
The region has secured two Gites near the Le Mans circuit (now fully booked) for this classic weekend. We have contacts in Le Mans for hotels if you fancy joining us. Travelling from Portsmouth to Caen a number of us will go over early to take advantage of Auto Track's Bugatti circuit track day the weekend before. What more could you ask for; weekend driving the Bugatti Circuit, a few days touring the area followed by a weekend of classic Le Mans racing. Perfect!! For details please contact Peter on 01293 886759.

27th "" 30th August "" The PCGB National Event
To be held at Brands Hatch this event will need some serious volunteers. All those up for it please take one step towards the phone and call me on 01293 886759.

Just realised that Peter started a new thread when he updated the diary - rather than updating this one (which was marked as a FAQ and pinned to the top of the forum!)

I've now swapped them around - the new thread can be found here ---> New Diary for 2004

I'll lock this one... and delete in a few days (in case anyone had saved the URL- to give them a chance to notice the change)

Mark - with Moderating hat on.
