Did the Cayman get a bigger IMS bearing in 2006?

I've read that the Boxster got a bigger IMS bearing in 2006, would it be likely that the Cayman got one as well. Thinking about getting a Cayman and this might affect what year I buy.

oct 2005 were first deliveries i think-i have chum who had one then .my2006 as richard says

Cayman as Richard says but I thought the Boxster only got the upgraded IMS Bearing when it went to 3.4?

This is from the LN Engineering web site: MY02-05 will need a single row Retrofitâ„¢ kit, although depending on how late the build date was, there may be some MY05 vehicles with the updated M97 IMS, which is not serviceable, at least without teardown of the engine. If your vehicle has a replacement engine, expect to find the prevailing bearing used by Porsche in those years. If the engine was made for MY06 or later, it will have the late revision, larger IMS bearing which is not serviceable without complete disassembly of the engine.

I guess that answers my question Richard, thanks. So if you have the earlier bearing there is a slight increase of a chance of failure but you can replace it relatively easily as a preventative measure, but if you have the later bearing there is less chance of failure but its not feasible to replace it, is that about right.
