I am trying to identify if Porsche ever produced a range, or ideally a model brochure for the 1984 / 1985 911 carrera. I have a silver covered brochure from about then but this is a very general Porsche brochure with lots of statistics about the company etc, but little detailed information, pictures or spec on the cars themselves.

Did they make such an item, and if so any ideas as to where I might try to purchase one other than E bay ?

They did a range brochure featuring 924/944/928/911/911 Turbo plus a brochure for each model as well. They were sort of square ish, pretty nice actually, I still have the range and model brochure from when I bought my 924 new in '84. eBay is the first place to look, they do come up, but there are a few specialist sellers they do old brochures and manuals. You could try http://www.gmundcollection.com/

I have the range brochure if you are interested - in very good condition and covers all the cars in good detail.

Make me a sensibe offer if interested.

Nathan.

Thanks. If they are 1984 vintage, is it possible that you could let me have the code number on the back page, as there are dealers that are advertising them for sale, but they do not have photos etc, so a number would help to make sure they are the right ones. Thanks

Sorry, the gold book was called celebration, a 50 year ceremony book.

Hmm, think I spent too much time & money on ebay [:D]

This is a October 1984 price list.

Many thanks for your time on this. I have the price list but will keep an eye out for the brochure. My car came with the original brochure, but this is 1983 and for the 3.0 SC which he ordered, but by the time the car was delivered it had become a 3.2 Carrera. I would therefore like the correct brochure as well.
