Difference between m029 and m030

Hi guys is the only difference the size of the springs between these 2?Also is the m029 kit available for a similar price to the m030 kit?

M029 is "standard suspension". In the case of the Turbo, it uses springs which give a 10mm lower ride height than the standard Carrera. Therefore, M029 means 'standard for the model', so M029 for the Carrera isn't the same as M029 for the Turbo. There was never an M030 option on the Turbo. The optional Sports Suspension was option X74.
 
I didn't realise they werent interchangeable. I had a look on design 911 and it looks to me as if the damper are the same just not the springs. Im trying to avoid the x74 tho as i feel the air splitter on the front bumper may get damaged as ive already managed to catch it a couple of times.

There are several different springs for C2, C4, C4S, Turbo, and Coupe/Cabrio versions of each (not to mention Targa) dut to different weight, etc. Also there are several different anti-roll bars. It can be a minefield.

I suppose should of just stated that to start with[:D] My car has done 70k and is on the original dampers and springs. I was just interested to know how much/what options are available.
 
I replaced all the dampers on my Turbo at about that mileage, although it was to try to improve the ride quality, rather than because they were causing a problem. In the process, I found that the rear springs had sagged a little, causing a nose-up attitude. I believe it is fairly common on Turbos. Probably a good idea to get the ride heights and alignment checked, and take it from there.
 
Yea i might take a trip upto knaresbourgh at rpm as they have the facilities. I know chris at CG does but its 3.5 hours each way. Do they come as a kit like the m030 and for a similar price. I actually found on my C2 when i had them replace that the car had sagged so much that it was at the same height as the sports kit[:D]
 
I ended up buying a set of Bilstein B6s through Chris Franklin, and he modified the rear spring mount grooves to get the ride height spot on. In retrospect, it would probably have been just as easy to fit new rear springs, as they weren't that expensive at the time.
