This is a cool vid... it's onboard a SWB 911 with a friend of mine driving. She gets passed by a 964 at the end of the GrandPrixStrecke and then follows it right around the Nordschliefe so u get to see a reasonably well driven 964 on the Ring at speed from behind... I loved it!

BTW, why is she blipping throttle on the up change???
 
Really enjoyed that , when it eventually loaded (my laptop showing it's age i think). Watching the tacho was interesting nearly 8 grand wow that thing loves to rev. Great vid.

Probably because the flywheel is soooo light and the gearbox cant be rushed that much, that without, you dont match the revs at a guess.
 
A great watch and yet another example of how much the driver affects the performance of the car. Both of them in this case. [:)]
 
Only goes to show what I have always suspected: As 911s evolved, their drivers regressed in skills leading to a zero sum lap time gain [:D][:D][:D]
