Difficult Decision

Many of you will know that I have changed job and the use of my car has changed, I have made the difficult decision to sell my car and go Porsche-less for a while.
I can't justify having 3 cars at the moment and with the dog we need a sensible car, so will be buying a sports estate that My Wife will mainly use, and I will use the 730 for my travelling.
There fore I will be putting the trusty old girl up for sale in a couple of weeks or so (the 951, not the missus).
I will probably put advertise her at £3,600 or thereabouts, but if anyone wants a solid, quick if not cosmetically perfect turbo at a bargain price, let me know, I will accept a lower offer if I know she is going to a good home.

I paid £2,600 for her 18 months ago and have spent over £3,000 in that time, as well as hours of polishing! The sills were done in the summer as were belts, water pump, cam cover, 2 wheel bearings, Front Pads & Disks and a 12k service. I will do the rear pads next weekend.

A Pair of Falkens went on the back last year and the fronts have P6000s with around 300k left on them!

She has 205k on the clock but the chaps at TWG reckon it is one of the nicest they have driven, she wears her miles well.

She is standard apart from the air filter and a Boost enhancer.

I will aim to put her up on PH in 2-3 weeks time

A very hard decision

That's only 1mm of tread! [:D][:D][:D]

Sorry to hear you're selling, but I thought it was going to be an issue when you changed jobs. Someone will be getting a good deal here based on all the work you've put in. [&o]

Very sad to hear this Jeremy [:(]

Good luck with the sale, it sounds like a very solid car after all the work you've put into her

That is a big shame and must be so frustrating after you have done so much work to her. Hopefully you will get the chance to return to the fold sometime in the future.

I feel your pain brother - being Porsche-less is no fun! But at least it gives me something to look forward to! Good luck with the sale.

Thanks all, it will be a wrench, but I will be returning to the Porsche fold

If nothing else this car has proven that you can run a Porsche on Mondeo Money (Just ordered Mintex rear pads for £24 delivered), which sets me up for Man-Maths calculations in the future!
