Digital Clock Fitting?

Just be carefull when you're taking it all apart as the panel around the heater control is a bit delicate, so ease it out gently with a flat blade screw driver bit by bit. The hazard switch is also a tight clip fit, and the dash panel gets quite brittle with time (guess how I know!) so it's easy to break the clips, but I think you shouldn't need to remove this unless you are replacing the panel.
I found it best to remove the glovebox too, so you can access the wiring better on the back of everything behind the panel. Makes it much easier, as the wiring to everything on the back is quite short, so it's hard to get the connectors of and on again. There are only a few screws under the lid, then inside the glovebox itself and it just pulls out.
