DIN blanking panel / cubby?

Hi All. I have a seemingly simple requirement - I wish to remove the Blaupunkt EQ from my dashboard (the sound on my new headunit is more than adequate) but need something to fit in the DIN-sized gap that will be left over!

I was going to fit an in-dash changer instead, but then of course I found that the lower DIN slot doesn't go back far enough because of the angle. So instead I would like to fit a black DIN blanking plate or half-depth storage tray.

I saw the latter in another Turbo at Eynsham, but never saw the owner to ask where it was obtained from! THought this would be easy to find, but I haven't had much luck so far - any suggestions?

Dan,

As standard the oval dash 944 has a cubby box under the radio slot.

I should think you would be able to pick one up from Porscheapart without too much trouble.

The Blaupunkt EQ unit is perfectly matched to the facia so I always assumed it was standard. Looks like this must have been an option - funny, I never considered that possibility! [&:]

Thanks for the tip.

Cheers
Dan
