Dinslaken 2015

Just a few from this years Dinslaken show, another great trip with two groups of cars sailing from Newcastle and Hull, later meeting up at Arnhem for lunch.

From Arnhem we headed straight to the show field at Dindlaken, in the hailstones !!

After setting up our pitch we headed to Oberhausen to clean the cars and enjoy a few beers.

Show day was, as in previous years, nice and sunny and a fantastic turnout of all Porsche models.

After the show we headed back to Oberhausen for a light snack [;)].....and beer

Saturday it was back to the ferry and start planning a bigger trip next year.

Cheers, Paul

Oh dear [:D]

Paul, that's probably in breach of all the forum rules. Getting a moderator all over-excited is not a good idea....posting that one picture is so cruel. [&o]

I would sell my kidneys for that 944 Shooting Brake, and any other organs for the 968 cab in Maritime behind it....[8|]

I've not seen the inside of the ( as someone called it) Allegro estate look-alike. Better with a bit less red, I'd suggest, but looks remarkably well-finished. Are the rear seats still in place?

Looking at the other pics, did you get the body paint off your bonnet? [;)]

Paul, that's the tamest of the 'painted ladies' photos, I thought the boundaries may be pushed slightly but I'm not forcing anyone to look [:D]

When we arrived back at Hull the heavens opened, biblical rain and a 190 miles to drive home.

So for the last week the S2 has been in pieces on axle stands, arch liners out, front PU off, lights out, badge panel off etc etc all in the name of a deep clean, hand prints removed.

Finally back on its wheels today, with a new set of front discs fitted, then covered ready for its next outing, whenever that is.

Cheers, Paul

It's not the painted ladies I get excited by: I'm at that age where I just want to lend them my jacket as they look so cold.... [&o]

It's the DW estate that makes me drool. I just love them, and seeing a new pic from the open tailgate is a first for me. [:)]
