DME problem

Hi Hope you can help
I am having problems with my fuel pump the DME relay unit is fine, the first relay is pulling in okay puting power to pin 87 the problem seems to be the ground from dme to pick up fuel pump (85b).
If I earth it out 85b the relay pulls in and the pump runs. after checking the drawing the cable to 87b should be black and green to pin 18 on the DME. on the DME its self pin 18 there are 2 red cables!
I am strugling to follow the cables through. Has anyone got a pin out of the DME? car is a 1990 s2 cab
