Hi, it's a white 91 reg no. Jxxxx,  located in cheshire, it looks like I'm buying this car so any info would be appreciated.

It's not a Register member's car, sorry but can't help beyond that useless piece of info! [&:]

Thanks anyway, it's not the original reg no. maybe if I find that it may be familiar to someone.

I was beginning to think you'd never find one Paul, but thank gawd you have [:)]

I look forward to seeing the pics and wait to see how quickly you get lured into possible modifications [;)]

Hi Paul,
I was indecisive, now I'm not so sure, [:D] jeez finally bought one, I didn't want white and I couldn't be arsed to travel, so 3 hours driving each way and after 3 hours chatting with the guy it's a done deal, as for mods, did all that with my Cos years ago so I'm leaving this car relatively standard.

maybe [;)]

Nice looking car and the best colour !!. Looks like its been lowered already, are the wheels gemballa ??

I'm not sure what make the wheels are, it was hard to make out the script on them.
They are 18s and apparently 9 and 10 inch which I would have thought is a bit wide for the road but we'll see.

Looks very, very nice. The wheels look superb, but it will be over tyred with them on and I bet they weigh a bit.

Yes I agree, on my test drive the steering did feel a bit heavy, aren't you supposed to fit 968 castor mounts with bigger wheels ?. If a geo setup doesn't restore the steering feel I may have to change the wheels.

You are supposed to replace the castors when you go to 17". There is actually a Porsche technical bulletin stating that 18" wheels should not be fitted to any 944 under any circumstances, but I believe it to be purely an anti-litigation measure aimed at the US rather than something they spent any time investigating and hence has no real foundation.

Looks so cool in white these days.

I did notice a difference when I fitted the 968 castor mounts to mine with 18" rims - even with some negative front camber, the car only tramlines a little on extremely cambered/grooved roads and only then if braking fairly hard.

Enjoy![:)]

Thanks for all the positive comments, I'm planning to pick the car up Tuesday so I'll have a 4 hour train ride to look forward to [:'(], then a 2.5 hour drive back [:)] .
