Dodgy Residuals?

My OPC, (Merlin) have been getting some high-spec facelift Boxster S's in recently. Although I was/am planning to wait for the new model in 2005, I though I'd enquire out of interest what sort of "deal" they'd offer.
After (they said) much ringing around, the best they could offer on my 2002 '02' high-spec 16K mile 2.7 was a paltry £26,500. Yet the CAP "clean" value is £28,650. Rip off or what!!!
