Does a 997 fit shorter drivers?

Hi Guys,

I bought a 1986 3.2 Carrera Targa Supersport a couple of years ago but would like to change my wife's car (BMW E36 328i cabriolet) to a Porsche so she can enjoy the driving experience.
As there is no steering wheel adjustment on the air cooled series of cars (was thinking about a 993) I want to know whether the 997 will suit a 4' 11" female?

Humor is a very subjective thing.

My wife is 5' 0" and she is able to drive our 997.1 but with the seat forward and raised. I guess it would depend on the type of seats fitted and their adjustment type. Also if the car is manual or auto. Best thing would always be a test drive for her.......
 
I think someone missed the wink at the end of the previous comment!!

There are plenty of 997 at the dealers and I'm sure the best way would be to enjoy a coffee at the dealers and see for yourself or for your good lady.
The seat does have a lot of travel, but whether the dash would seem to high for her in relation to the wheel I don't know.
