Gary,

What sort of stealth mission do you have planned or is it just to dodge the police?[]

I did research exactly on the opposite, that is, paint (metallic) enhanced radar detection for small sea crafts see,
Adamopoulos PG, Small RCS marine surface crafts and their radar detection in real (estuary) sea conditions, J. of Navigation, 47(3), 427-440, 1994, where it works beautifully...
Unfortunately, it DOES NOT work the other way around... it becomes more a question of structural materials rather than paint... it is very difficult to hide the metallic items in your car...
Sorry[:(]

I thought it was more a question of shapes and angles.

The radar signature of an albatross is easily mistaken for that of a small to medium sized helicopter in certain sea conditions. A number these birds discovered this, albeit just before they discovered the consequences of the similarity, in the South Atlantic during 1982. As a policy of "shoot first ask questions" later was in force at the time they normally spent their last moments on this earth playing catch with a 4.5" high explosive shell!

If only Maggie had known this, she could have blamed the General Belgrano on an errant budgerigar!

Anti-radar paint? Is this something to do with confusing radar speed traps? Does cling film on number plates make them unphotographable? This post is really confusing on a Sun AM ... [&o]hohum...back to bed
