Does anybody remember Ted Lambert

I was at a hotel in St Annes last night and I got talking to a guy who is a member of TIPEC.

He inherited his 944 (1982, Y Reg, Red Metallic) when his brother died some years ago. His brother was called Ted Lambert and he tells me Ted was a prominent member of PCGB back in the '90s, so much so that when he died there was a dedication to him at an event (NEC I think).

He mentioned that Ted once appeared on the cover of Porsche Post possibly in a Boxter around 1997 / 1998. He was asking if anyone had any photos of Ted and / or Ted's car that they could let him have?

If you have, please post on here and I'll PM you his details.

Thanks.

I have a couple of photo albums of the Regional (Lancs & Cumbria R18) events that I organised from 1994 - but to be honest I do not recall Ted at all. Thats not to say I do not know him, just that I am terrble with names and faces.

If someone had a photo of him so that I might refresh my memory than I could check my photos.
Other than that - sorry.

Thanks Peter,

I'll try to get a photo, but I think he may have been from Midlands region so he might not be on the photos you have - his brother certainly is from the midlands.
