there was no recipts for any parts or any other work, i have about 100 recipts for my car, is this anything to worry about please let me know.
Some people keep receipts, some people don't.
I'm not suggesting that people do but, when significant store is put on a cars history, I have little doubt that some convenient receipts might be "manufactured" by some people.
I find receipts interesting as they do help to give a picture of a car. A lot of receipts could mean a car has been well cared for or it could mean that it is a bad car that has required a lot of work. Only reading the receipts, in date order, can give you an impression of which of the above applies.
With a choice of two cars identical in every way, except that one has receipts, then I might go for the one with receipts. This is assuming they gave me a good picture. It the receipts indicated multiple efforts to rectify a recuring problem, late service intervals, use of cheap non OEM components, servicing by non Porsche specialists etc. I might then go with the car without receipts as ignorance is bliss. Conversely, retention of receipts demonstrates an interest in a vehicle by the owner, which can only be a good thing.
At the end of the day, receipts are usefull but, I wouldn't walk away from what seems like a good car just because it doesn't have a stack of bills with it.
