does anyone know

You could try contacting the national sprint assoc. Always plenty of superchargers being used there size will be abig factor i would think great way to an instant power gain

Kits are very few & far between, although a homebrew effort might be possible.

If you want forced induction power it's cheaper (in the long run) to sell the S2 buy a turbo I think.

They only ever seem to run at very modest boost levels anyway for a number of reasons, reliability being the biggest. It will cost a fair wedge and probably only add 20 or 30 horses IMO. Unless you whack the boost up and get double that for a short period before you launch a rod through the side of the block!

As EDH says best to trade up to a turbo if you want to have some breathed on, blown fun! You can add 50-60 HP to a 250 car for a very modest layout.

Do Ninemeister still sell the kit?
Yes, they do [8D]!! Although, only the 350 BHP kits. For 580 BHP, they will only sell you one if you let them carry out a full internals rebuild. Mega bucks [:(]!!

I've got a set of brand new Carrillo rods the owner didn't get around to fitting to his 9M supercharged 968 CS before it broke a rod, don't think it was running over 350. There was also a red SC 968 CS for sale a few years ago that had 3 or 4 expensive engine rebuilds.

The low boost levels of the bolt on kits is due to the relatively high 10.9:1 static compression ratio of the S2 motor and squeezing an intercooler or charge cooler and plumbing is tricky so I think they tend to run without? This makes the risk of det very high and you're always going to be chasing your tail with a very compromised set up like this. However with decent management and water injection I reckon you could prevent and manage det and achieve some decent numbers... Hopefully the OP is going into this with their eyes open though.

thanks for all your input i would sell my s2 but it is in the rare turkish blue linen leather i spent a long time detailing the engine bay i went to 9m but they wanted 10000 to 15000 and were unhelpful i trust unit 11 more to do the job but i am still trying to get an idea of which kit to use

Turbo your S2 engine like Turbotim did.

Good suggestion...he's at another level to most Porsche tuners I think. (Of course might be easier to drop a 16V motor into a late turbo chassis?)

Doesn't make financial sense to do a big engine conversion on a turbo these days. If I had a nice S2 and a need for speed I'd investigate a low boost conversion, 350 bhp should be possible without spending many thousands.

[:D] Unless my engine goes pop the 2.7 engine, S2 crank and fancy rods will remain garage ornaments.

I know a guy who has an unused kit in his garage. It was apparantly bought for a 968 and never fitted. I need to go and see him and find out what it is and how much he wants for it.

yes if you could ask him how much he wants for it and if its cheap enough we will talk thanks alot for getting in touch any idea how long
